選民如果不想被那些名嘴或學者牽著鼻子走，最好自己綜合研判各民調數據，而選民若細心觀察的話，當時親綠的自由時報曾罕見的針對各縣市進行民調，這些數字與親藍的聯合報所公佈的數字有不少出入，但是如果將兩者的數字相加除以二，如果某縣市是由藍軍或綠軍候選人領先，開票結果完全吻合此一結果，連長期由民進黨執政的宜蘭縣也如此。這說明了民調會說話，但是就看你能否聽得懂民調所傳遞的「密碼」。
